Spokane's Top Model Audition Information

February 5th, 2011 - Auditioning models will be taken through a photoshoot, walk critique and interview. They will be asked to come photo-ready (wearing something fashionable with full hair and makeup) for the initial casting call. An application fee of $25 will be accessed upon auditioning. All auditioning models will receive a branded Spokane's Top Model digital image for their portfolio. Later that week, our Spokane's Top Model team will be doing call backs and select the top 40 models based on their prints, walk, marketability and personality for the competition.

February 26th, 2011 - The top 40 will be involved in a photoshoot and video interview that is used as part of the judgeing criteria for the live event. Each model will be placed with a local salon and Boutique that will be in charge of hair, makeup and wardrobe for the photoshoot.

April 16th, 2011 - The selected models will walk in the event taking place at the Knitting Factory. Then they will be judged by the Spokane Top Model judging panel as well as the audience by text vote!

Falling Into Winter Fashion Event

The Roots Salon and Spa & Veda Lux Boutique are putting on the "Falling Into Winter Fashion" show. The FREE cover show is at the MarQuee Lounge this Wednesday, November 17th. Local business is a big focus in the show that is centered around the Perry District. The fashion show starts at 9:00 PM and doors open at 8:00 PM. Make sure to come early to enjoy the $3 drink specials and a chance to win $300 in awesome door prizes!

Spokane's Top Model Fashion Coordinator - DList Covergirl Competition

Red Eye Promotions’ very own Aubreyana Marie Anderson is in the running for the DList 2011 Covergirl. Aubreyana was born and raised in Spokane and moved to Seattle to get her Bachelors of Science in Fashion Marketing from The Art Institute of Seattle. Throughout her college career she has been able to partake in major events building up a large network of contacts and an impressive resume.

Former dancer for the Spokane Shock and dancer of over 18 years, Aubreyana has walked for large fashion shows including The Goodwill Glitter Gala and Seattle Fashion Week. She has walked for major brands, designers, exclusive boutiques, promoting as a Monster promotion girl and Rockstar ring girl for Spokane Arena Rumble. Currently she has earned three major clothing sponsors, is featured in national ad campaigns and just wrapping up her degree. Red Eye Promotions sees this as a recipe for success.

Although she loves her life the city, Aubreyana cannot wait until she moves back to her hometown (we can't wait to have her back either!). “I love the pace of life and hospitality Spokane has to offer.” Red Eye Promotions has added Aubreyana to the team as our Fashion Coordinator for Spokane’s Top Model. “I am excited to be a part of such a fun team and have the opportunity to give girls a chance to build their confidence and advance their career the world of modeling.”

After a month long voting war between her and 135 beautiful young ladies from the Pacific Northwest, only one will walk away with the title! Grand Prize includes cover of the January issue of DList Magazine, spread within the magazine, one year membership to David Bartham gym and Seattle suntan, $1000 cash prize, contract with TCM and a new Droid Phone from Verizon!

Best of Spokane Fashion

The BEST of Spokane event showcased some of the Spokane's Top Model hopefuls as freeze models during their annual awards party to celebrate the top businesses in the area. I must say, Spokane Coeur d'Alene Living magazine put on quite the party! Throughout the night our models rotated through stylish clothing from  Finders Keepers. The models stationary models included Alexandra Anthony, Alexandra Collins, Brent Schneider, Caila Cronin, Crystal Pointek, Estee Lee Wilson, Devin Guerrero, Jennifer Watts, Laura Feasline and Trina Kay.

Featured Agency, The View Talent Agency supplied models Brent, Jennifer, Laura and Trina! Big things are happening with The View Talent, where they are launching a print division in addition to their existing runway, feature film, local and national commercial divisions. Overall the event was a success and everyone had a blast (especially the women who were wine tasting then dancing by our booth)! I'm already looking forward to next year in working with the Spokane Coeur d'Alene Living magazine to make the party even bigger and better!

What is Spokane's Top Model?

Spokane's Top Model is full spectrum fashion event that will showcase Spokane's top models, boutiques and salons. Each will compete for awards, prizes and bragging rights!

When and Where?

Spokane's Top Model is currently slated for April 16, 2011 at the Knitting Factory in Spokane, WA. We will be announcing model auditions, photoshoots, and casting calls in Late 2010.

What to Expect

Models

Auditioning models will pay a $25 entry, which will include custom Spokane's Top Model images from your photoshoot for your portfolio and the chance to win tons of prizes from local boutiques, salons, and other Spokane's Top Model sponsors!

Auditioning models will be taken through a single day process in which they will start with a simple photoshoot as well as a casting call. The 40 of the top models will be selected for the competition. Previous to the live event; the top 40 models will be placed with a local boutique who will be in charge of their clothing, assecories, ect. and a local salon, which will be responsible for hair and make-up. They will then have a full-featured photoshoot and video interview , which the pictures will be part of the judgeing criteria for the live event. And April 16, 2011 the selected models will walk and be judged by our Spokane Top Model judging panel as well as the audience via text voting!

Boutiques

Eight competing boutiques receive company branding on various Spokane's Top Model marketing material, a booth for showcasing product at the live event (optional), and being able to supply designed marketing material for gift bags that will be given out to all participant and audience.

If you are a selected boutique participating in Spokane's Top Model; you will be given required dates in which you will meet with auditioning models for fittings at our photoshoots prior to the live event. You will be assigned a small group of models in which your team will be responsible for designing and incorporating your products into their apparel for the live show and photoshoots.

Salons

Eight competing salons receive company branding on various Spokane's Top Model marketing material, a booth for showcasing product at the live event (optional), and being able to supply designed marketing material for gift bags that will be given out to all participant and audience.

If you are a selected Salon participating in Spokane's Top Model; you will be given required dates in which you will meet with auditioning models for hair & make-up at our photoshoots prior to the live event. You will be assigned a small group of models in which your team will be responsible for creating a specific look or theme for the live show and photoshoots.
